Overall, I give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars, because the atmosphere is well-fitted for eating, take-out, or delivery, the food is outstanding, especially at the price, and the waitstaff and management are accommodating and personable. I became aware of this place due to my roommate's enthusiasm for their lunch specials and fried platters. They enjoy eating here so much that they even convinced me, someone who loathes eating out of a box, to place a to-go order for the most recent holiday!
Since I'm vegetarian and tend to eat small portions, I was astonished at the abundance of vegetable options available in the Lunch Special combos (which come with an egg roll!). The waiter was kind enough to bring out a plate of steamed broccoli as a side dish, which they didn't charge me for! when I asked for something simple to go with my Kung Pao chicken and fried rice [2]. I was happily stuffed by the end of the meal.
Regarding their fried platters, I must give credit where credit is due. My favorite is 85E, which consists of shrimp egg rolls that are more like shrimp tacos, but I'd go there just for the chicken fried plate since it's delicious. I'm so glad that this place delivers! The owners are fantastic and friendly, and their Facebook page offers specials, fun contests, holiday hours if they're closed, and take-out reminders. They always have beef and shrimp fried rice as take-out specials! I've never encountered a problem with them, but I'm well-aware of their 5-star service since they're good people who handle their business properly. They have three 5-star Yelp reviews and a ton of other good reviews on other sites. They're always quite busy and worth the wait.
